ABOUT

Hi, I’m Nicole — a mother of three, trilingual educator, and passionate advocate for helping children build confidence through creativity and learning. I believe every child is born with natural curiosity, and it’s our job as adults to nurture that spark, guide their growth, and cheer them on every step of the way. While learning skills and concepts is important - teaching students to be confident and sure of their own knowledge is an important pillar of their success.

I struggled in school as a child, but through the support of dedicated tutors, encouraging teachers, and the confidence I gained from music programs, I was able to find my path to success. Those tried-and-true methods now inspire how I teach and support every student I work with.

Music and Learning was created from a deep love of teaching and a lifelong connection to both music and education. With over a decade of experience in product development and small business strategy, I bring organization, creativity, and adaptability into every lesson I teach — whether in music or academics.

I earned my B.A. from Augustana College in English, Spanish, and Business Marketing, and I speak English, Spanish, and Polish fluently. My multicultural background and communication skills help me connect with learners of all ages and create an inclusive, supportive environment.

I’ve also been a dedicated musician for most of my life. My musical background includes:

While attending Augustana College I received three scholarships including the English Major Department Scholarship, Music Scholarship, as well as the Augie Excellence Scholarship. These supported my academic pursuits and fueled my passion for language and teaching.

Beyond music and academics, I have a lifetime of experience working with children of all ages — including coaching a soccer team for 3- and 4-year-olds in Spring 2025. I believe that patience, enthusiasm, and genuine care are the most important “credentials” a teacher can have.

Whether I’m leading a clarinet lesson, tutoring a student through a tricky writing assignment, or hosting a hands-on after-school workshop, I aim to create a space where kids feel seen, supported, and capable. I bring energy, structure, and heart to every session, and I’m deeply invested in helping your child grow both in skill and in confidence.

My mission is simple:
To inspire curiosity, celebrate progress, and build up a generation of learners who believe in themselves.
